The Internet - Today, Zangaroa Web Development announced the introduction of Security Consultation to its wide range of services.

"The internet is a dangerous place" advised public relations czar Carlo Von Sexron over a web conference consisting of clients and business partners. "More and more companies are finding themselves the result of hacking attacks, whether it be their web servers or e-mail accounts. And lets face it people, those with a complete lack of security strategy in place are the most likely to suffer extreme damages by hackers."

However, Carlo also warned against tactics such as social engineering and phishing. "Many people that get hacked don't even realize that they were. All too often, somebody falls trap for a fake login page for their favorite social network, and end up giving up precious login details. And even more often, they share passwords across multiple accounts, which gives people access to things such as e-mail boxes or even online banking accounts." Carlo then pointed to a document that they found had been anonymously uploaded to popular text sharing site Pastebin, which contained the usernames and passwords of many social networking and e-mail accounts. "Many of these accounts were never touched, and the owners don't suspect a thing. With a proper security strategy, they wouldn't have found their accounts on this document, though they likely won't ever find out about it until somebody uses the details to get into their accounts."
